IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

Hartnell Little League has been selected by the Californian Rodeo Salinas Association as one of eight Salinas nonprofits to work several upcoming events at the Salinas Sports Complex (the July Fourth fireworks show and the annual California Rodeo on July 21-24, 2016).  
 
By working the July Fourth fireworks show and the annual California Rodeo, Hartnell Little League is hoping to raise an estimated $15,000 from working the show’s concession stands during these events.  The monies raised from these events will be used to help fund the much needed renovation of Claremont field in the Fall of 2016 along with additional renovations at Doglione Field.
 
Nonprofits will be running concession stands, which include selling hamburgers, soda and beer on the day of the July Fourth fireworks show and each day of the rodeo between July 21 and July 24.  We are responsible for recruiting a minimum of eight volunteers for the events for each day.  That is why Hartnell Little League is now requesting your help, even if it is for only one of those days, to staff the concession stand. 
 
To take advantage of this opportunity, we need to finalize our list of volunteers as soon as possible. Any family member or any friend, over 21 years old, can help volunteer. All volunteers must be certified by the State ABC to work inside the concessions booth (which is really easy to do, we can email you this info or visit the ABC's website for more info about RBS training).
