San Francisco’s Dirk Ryan Named Hitter of the Year

The Nevada Big Horns (13-16) and the South Bay Storm (18-10) both had scoring chances on Saturday, but it was the Nevada Big Horns that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 9-5 win at CSU East Bay.
Zachary Muenster had two extra-base hits for the Nevada Big Horns. He singled in the third inning and doubled in the eighth inning.
Cody Rolshoven had an impressive outing against the South Bay Storm's lineup. The South Bay Storm managed just two hits off of Rolshoven, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out five during his 2 2/3 innings of work.
Connor Fabing put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the South Bay Storm. He doubled in the third and fourth innings and singled in the sixth and eighth innings.
Ray Fuentes (1-2) took the loss for the South Bay Storm. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out two, and allowed four runs.
Muenster, Kyler Brudwick and Blaine Smith helped lead the Nevada Big Horns. They combined for seven hits and seven RBIs.
