JOHNSTOWN – The Johnstown Tomahawks are pleased to announce the commitment of forward Anthony Parrucci to Division III Elmira College.

Located in Elmira N.Y., the Soaring Eagles compete in the Eastern College Athletic Conference.

Parrucci provided a boost of offense down the stretch in 2015-16 by chipping in 10 goals and 13 assists in 59 games. He also earned four points (three goals, one assist) in 6 playoff games.

“We are proud of what Anthony accomplished this season for the Tomahawks and of his selection of a great school like Elmira,” head coach Mike Letizia said. “He provided our team with invaluable veteran leadership throughout the whole season and was a great teammate.”

“I know that Elmira is getting not only a quality hockey player but a quality person.”

In 2014-15, the Gibsonia, Pa., native suited up for the now-defunct Michigan Warriors. During that span, he scored two goals and three assists.

With Parrucci's commitment, the total number of college commitments from the Tomahawks elevated to 17 players, which is a team record.
