Hello Highlands Families,

We’ve been so lucky this season to be basking in the sun during most evenings and weekends out on the baseball field. We hope you and your kids have made some new friends and had a great time playing little league baseball.

 As we inch closer to the end of the season, there are a few important notes:

1. Post Season Baseball Try Outs

Details on our post-season teams and expectations for post-season play can be found here 

If your child is interested in trying out for one of our competitive post-season team these are the dates you need to know:

First Round Open Try Outs:

·   Super 8s open try-out- Monday June 6 at 6-7:30 p.m. on the A Ball field

·   9/10 All Stars and Select 9s combined open try-out- Thursday, June 2, 6:00-8:00p.m. (check in 5:45) **NORGATE PARK**

·   11/12 All Stars try-out (open to Majors players only)- Saturday, June 4 5:30-7:30 Delbrook Majors field.

·   Select 11s try-out (Majors and AAA age 11s)– Monday June 6, 7:15-8:45 Delbrook majors field

 Second Round Invite Only Try Outs:

·   11/12 All Star invite-only try outs - Sunday June 5th, 7-8:30 p.m. Delbrook majors field

·   9/10 All Star invite-only try outs - Monday June 6th, 5:30-7 p.m. Delbrook majors field

·   Select 9s invite-only try outs - TBA

2. Closing Day

Be sure to join us for our Closing Day BBQ on Saturday June 11 from 12-5.  Free hot dogs for all kids in a Highlands uniform.

3. Support your League

We have a donation link set up on our website.  It has been an expensive year for us with all of the field improvements so please consider supporting Highlands with a donation.

We are also interested in speaking to any businesses who would like to become Highlands sponsors and get some great exposure on the North Shore. Spread the word!

4. Make an Impact. Join the Board!

We will need additional volunteer members for our Board of Directors next year.  If you are interested in a position (descriptions here) contact president@highlandsbaseball.com to attend an upcoming meeting for a preview.  Have a say on how the league develops and grows.
