Florida excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances.
Florida was helped by Ian Sabb, who racked up one goal. Sabb scored 9:18 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Florida. Robert Rosenthal assisted on the tally. Florida also had goals scored by Jacobo Perez and Alec Altschul, who each put in one. More assists for Florida came via Tomer Vinitski and Tarin McNamara, who contributed one each.
Arizona's starting goalie, Cameron Judge, made 18 saves and finished with the win before he was taken out in favor of Jonah Gower, who stopped zero shots. Arizona incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with two minors. Michael Aronson took the otl and made 13 saves before being replaced by Ryan Nussbaum who made 11 saves. Florida incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
