PEORIA — The Peoria Rivermen earned home-ice advantage for the SPHL playoffs with a record-filled performance this season.
And on Monday, the team acknowledged the Peoria Civic Center has left them homeless.
The facility has already booked a monster truck show called Monster Jam, and a religious event, that will block Carver Arena from April 14-24, inclusive.
That means the SPHL regular-season points champion Rivermen — who are 36-12-3, won a league-record 14 straight games and have been in first place nearly the entire season — will have to play postseason games at Owens Center.
