            It was all smiles for the North Pittsburgh Wildcats U16 AA team as they took on the Southpoint Rink Rats U16 AA team at the Iceoplex at Southpoint on Saturday. North Pittsburgh started off the scoring with a goal Martin Hubert, but Southpoint’s Zach Mansmann tied the game at 1-1 with a goal.

After that however, it was all North Pittsburgh with another goal by Martin Hubert, who also plays for North Allegheny’s Varsity team, and a goal by Andrew Gagnon, to end the first period scoring.

The second period saw goals scored by North Pittsburgh’s Brett Berner and Martin Hubert, giving Hubert the hat trick. In the third, North Pittsburgh scored two more goals, one by Andrew Gagnon, his second of the game, and the other by Martin Hubert, his forth of the game.

North Pittsburgh is a talented team and seems to easily be able to put the puck in the net. It seems as though they may be on their way to a long run in the playoffs.
