Alliston penalty kill dominates in 4-2 defeat of Penetang

The win by Alliston clinched the best of seven series at zero-four

Hornets were paced by Jordan Schwartz, who tallied one goal. Schwartz scored in the second period to make the score 3-1 Alliston.

Alliston put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Penetang to score on any of their six power plays.

Alliston additionally got points from Devon Gillham, who also registered one goal and one assist. Alliston also had goals scored by Stephen Nosad and Nick Arcan, who each put in one. In addition, Alliston received assists from Brady Martin, who had two and Jacob Tuck and Mitch Livingston, who each chipped in one.

Kings were helped by Brad Kuepfer, who grabbed one goal.Kuepfer scored in the first period to make the score 1-1 . Michael Paul claimed the first assist on the goal, and Cam Cochrane got the second.Others who scored for Penetang included Matt Meher and Kuepfer, who scored one each. More assists for Penetang came via Cochrane, Paul , Craig Robinson, and Nate Archer , who contributed one apiece.

Tyler Brindle rejected 20 shots on goal for Hornets. Alliston incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Andrew North made 21 saves for Penetang on 25 shots. Kings incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
