Nelthorpe, Cunningham dominate Kincardine, lead Walkerton to 5-2 win

The win by Walkerton broke a deadlock and gave Walkerton a two-one advantage in the best of seven series.

Walkerton additionally got points from Elder, who also registered two goals and one assist. In addition, Walkerton received assists from Ryan Hamelin, who had two and Chris Gillman and Nathan Kramer, who each chipped in one.

Kincardine put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Hawks to score on any of their four power plays.

Bulldogs were helped by Hunter Robins-Gibbons, who racked up one goal.Robins-Gibbons scored in the third period to make the score 3-2 Walkerton. Brady Richards and Luke Czuczman registered the assists on the goal.Kincardine also had goals scored by Gerrit Satosek and Robins-Gibbons, who each put in one. More assists for Kincardine came via Richards, Czuczman, Matthew Mah, and Shawn Moore, who contributed one apiece.

Nick Redman rejected 23 shots on goal for Walkerton. Hawks incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Kincardine's Hutchings stopped 22 shots out of the 27 that he faced. Bulldogs incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
