Kanata Midget AAA downs Cumberland Midget AAA, 2-1

The CIHA White Midget AAA White and the OHA U18 Midget AAA OHA U17 were evenly matched throughout their contest, but CIHA White Midget AAA made the most of its opportunities and won, 3-2.
No lead was more than one goal during the contest, and the winning goal was scored by Thomas Chaulk at 13:31 of the second period.
The White were led by Pavel Gogolev, who registered one goal. Gogolev scored 49 seconds into the third period to make the score 3-3. Seva Losev assisted on the tally.
CIHA White Midget AAA also had goals scored by Jared Weber and Luka Bolduc, who scored one goal each. In addition, CIHA White Midget AAA received assists from Dimitri Levesque, who had one and Kenshin Hayashi, who had three.
OHA U18 Midget AAA excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances.
The OHA U17 were led by Dylan Stacey, who finished with one goal and one assist. Stacey scored on the power play 10:52 into the second period to make the score 2-2. OHA U18 Midget AAA had gotten the advantage when CIHA White Midget AAA's Gogolev was sent off for boarding. Adam Porter picked up the assist. Jon Vandermolen also scored for OHA U18 Midget AAA. More assists for OHA U18 Midget AAA came via Josh Kim and Aleck Forcier, who contributed one each.
Olivier Pimpare-Charbonneau made 20 saves for the White on 22 shots. CIHA White Midget AAA incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Francis Asselin rejected 15 shots on goal for the OHA U17. OHA U18 Midget AAA incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
