St. Andrews College rolls over Ridley College, 5-1

The St. Andrews College Saints gutted out a close 3-2 win against the Ridley College Tigers.
No lead was more than one goal during the contest, and the winning goal was scored by William Sirman at 19:12 of the third period.
St. Andrews College's penalty kill excelled, as the Saints gave up zero goals despite allowing six power plays.
St. Andrews College was sparked by Sirman, who racked up one goal and one assist.
The Saints stifled Ridley College's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. St. Andrews College forced the Tigers goalie Chris McGonigle to work between the pipes, taking 41 shots. The Saints were forced to rely heavily on their penalty kill unit throughout the game, as they racked up 16 penalty minutes.
St. Andrews College also got points from Corey Andonovski, who also grabbed one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Kody Clark also scored for St. Andrews College. Other players who recorded assists for St. Andrews College were Reid Yochim, who had two.
Ridley College was helped by Matvey Skripchenko, who registered one goal. Skripchenko scored 7:13 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Ridley College. Brandon Skubel assisted on the tally. Ridley College also got a goal from Ryan Mahshie as well. More assists for Ridley College came via Carson Edwardson, Cameron Beaudry, and Andrew McIntyre, who each chipped in one.
Cole Chapman made 28 saves for St. Andrews College on 30 shots. The Saints registered zero goals on two power play opportunities. McGonigle recorded 38 saves for the Tigers. Ridley College incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
