Kanata Midget AAA downs Cumberland Midget AAA, 2-1

Dylan Coffey grabbed one point to lead the OHA U17 Midget AAA OHA U16 to a 6-2 victory over the CIHA White Midget AAA White.
OHA U17 Midget AAA forced CIHA White Midget AAA goalie Jacob Lavergne to work between the pipes, taking 35 shots. The OHA U16 surpassed their usual scoring output this season. OHA U17 Midget AAA has scored at the pace of 2.6 goals per game during the current campaign.
OHA U17 Midget AAA also got points from Tod Philibert, who also had one goal and one assist and Yanick Leblanc, who also registered two goals and one assist to lead the team in points. Others who scored for OHA U17 Midget AAA included Nicholas Abbott and Nash McLean, who each put in one. In addition, OHA U17 Midget AAA received assists from Thomas Callaghan, Matthew Briggs, Kyle Nichol, and Tim Kobler, who contributed one each and Andre Guldbrandsen and Curtis Egert, who each chipped in two.
The White were helped by Braeden-Jay Wynne, who finished with one goal. Wynne scored 13:25 into the second period to make the score 2-2. Jared Weber picked up the assist. Pavel Gogolev also scored for CIHA White Midget AAA. More assists for CIHA White Midget AAA came via Seva Losev and Semen Der-Arguchintsev, who contributed one each.
Dillon Lamarche rejected 15 shots on goal for the OHA U16. OHA U17 Midget AAA incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. CIHA White Midget AAA's Lavergne stopped 29 shots out of the 35 that he faced. The White incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
