Oakville, ON - The Oakville Rock have traded Defenders Stuart Martin and Brier Jonathan to the Six Nations Cheifs for a 5th Round Selection in 2017 and future considerations.

Brier Jonathan was a regular for the Rock last season appearing in 13 games totalling 1 assist as a rookie. Martin played in one regualr season game as an AP scoring once and adding an assit for 2 points, but spent the majority of the 2015 season playing for the Six Nations Rivermen.

Rock General Manager Josh Sanderson said the deal would allow both players to return to their Junior A centre and play closer to home. Freeing up some space for incoming draft picks to play in Oakville.
