Behind a great game by Brent House, who had two goals and three assists, the St. Marys Lincolns defeated the Strathroy Rockets, 6-4.
House scored at 4:10 into the first period to make the score 1-0 St. Marys and again while on the power play 18:56 into the second to make the score 4-3 St. Marys.St. Marys outdid its season average for goals scored. The Lincolns average 2.7 goals per game.
St. Marys also got points from Nolan King, who also had one goal and four assists to lead the team in points, Jeff Schrattner, who also registered one goal and one assist, Ryan Martin, who also tallied one goal and two assists, and Graham Brulotte, who also racked up one goal and one assist.
Strathroy forced St. Marys goalie Emanuel Vella to work between the pipes, taking 49 shots.
The Rockets were helped by Matthew Stevens, who finished with one goal. Stevens scored 11:26 into the second period to make the score 3-3. Steve Griggs assisted on the tally. Strathroy additionally got points from Nick Griffin, who also grabbed one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Strathroy also had goals scored by Liam Fordy and Lucas Latina, who scored one goal each. Other players who recorded assists for Strathroy were Dalton Good, Kieran Milne, Jeff Williams, and Noah Tooke, who each chipped in one.

Strathroy's starting goalie, Dane Gubbels, made 18 saves and finished with the loss before he was taken out in favor of Dan Davies, who stopped two shots. The Rockets incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
