The Dundas Blues pulled out a 3-2 (OT) overtime victory over the Dunnville Jr. Mudcats on a clutch goal by Chris Cudek.

The win by Dundas clinched the best of seven series at 4-0.

Dunnville's power play was ineffective against the Blues' penalty kill, which allowed zero goals while shorthanded.

Dundas was sparked by Cudek, who tallied one goal. Cudek scored 2:54 into overtime to make the score 3-2 Dundas. Josh Morgan picked up the assist.

The Blues stifled the Jr. Mudcats' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

Dundas also had goals scored by Jaden Simoneau and Cam McConnell, who scored one goal each.

Dunnville put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Dundas to score on any of its six power plays.

The Jr. Mudcats were led by Matt Ruigrok APM, who had two goals. Ruigrok APM scored the first of his two goals at 7:05 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Dunnville. Mark Topp assisted on the tally. Ruigrok APM's next tally made the score 2-2 with 17:21 left in the third period. In addition, Dunnville received assists from Travis Sheldrake, who had one.

Andrew Albano made 27 saves for the Blues on 29 shots. Dundas ended with 31 minutes in penalty time with eight minors and one major. Team's Max Giannone and Dan Pelosini were slapped with misconducts and ejected from the game. Dunnville's Brennan Head stopped 27 shots out of the 30 that he faced. The Jr. Mudcats ended with 17 minutes in penalty time with six minors and one major. For Dunnville, Matt Dolan, Aaron Krajcir, Davis Hart, and Millar Leniew were ejected from the contest.
