Tim Mayo has been named Pitching Coach for 2016 at Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut. This marks Mayo’s eighth consecutive year as a Pitching Coach for a collegiate program. The Springfield College graduate started his collegiate coaching career in the NECBL for the Holyoke Giants when he served as an assistant coach from 2004-2006. He saw his first stint as a Pitching Coach with a college program at Elms College (Chicopee, Mass.) in 2009. After serving one year at Elms, he began a historic coaching career at Western New England College/University (Springfield, Mass.) in 2010. Serving as Pitching Coach from 2010-2013 at Western New England, Mayo experienced three Commonwealth Coast Conference championships and four NCAA New England Regional appearances. In 2011, Mayo and Western New England won the New England Regional and went to the Division III College World Series in Appleton, Wisconsin. In 2014 and 2015, Mayo was Pitching Coach at Eastern Connecticut State University (Willimantic, Conn.) where he experienced one Little East Conference championship and the #1 seed at the NCAA New England Regional.
