The Fort Erie Meteors' Danial Singer scored 4:05 into overtime to beat the Niagara Falls Canucks, 4-3 (OT).

Fort Erie's penalty kill excelled, as the Meteors gave up one goal despite allowing seven power plays.

Fort Erie was led by Singer, who registered one goal.

Fort Erie also got points from Anthony Passero, who also registered one goal and one assist. Fort Erie also had goals scored by Dakota Miskolczi and Chad Springer, who scored one goal each. In addition, Fort Erie received assists from Holden Garlent, who had two and Paolo Sivilotti, Mike Masotti, and Conner Schmalz, who contributed one each.

Niagara Falls put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow the Meteors to score on any of their four power plays. The Canucks forced Fort Erie goalie Brayden Lachance to work between the pipes, taking 47 shots.

Niagara Falls was helped by Cesare Caldaroni, who tallied one goal. Caldaroni scored 11:55 into the first period to make the score 2-1 Fort Erie. Carson Edwardson picked up the assist. Niagara Falls additionally got points from Edwardson, who also had one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Scott Grieve also scored for Niagara Falls. Other players who recorded assists for Niagara Falls were Taggart Ledyard, Kevin Boyd, Peter Falivena, Austin Bottrell, and Matthew Marsden, who each chipped in one.

Brayden Lachance made 44 saves for the Meteors on 47 shots. Fort Erie incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors. The Meteors ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Miskolczi was ejected from the game. Adam Dentico rejected 23 shots on goal for the Canucks. Niagara Falls incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
