The Caledon Golden Hawks' Randy Chen scored 2:25 into overtime to beat the Stayner Siskins, 4-3 (OT).

After the loss made the series score 3-2 in the best of seven series, Stayner faces elimination next time out.

Caledon was led by Chen, who finished with one goal.

Caledon additionally got points from Nicholas McNutt, who also registered one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Others who scored for Caledon included Tyler Whitten and Ryan Mouser, who each put in one. More assists for Caledon came via Matt Magliozzi, Sam Procopio, and Daniel Cafagna, who each chipped in one.

The Siskins put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow the Golden Hawks to score on any of their six power plays. Stayner kept Caledon's goalie busy throughout the game, and Procopio made 31 saves on 34 shots.

The Siskins were led by Ricky Darrell, who tallied one goal and one assist. Darrell scored short handed 15:51 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Stayner. Stayner found itself down a man on Luke Aulthouse's roughing. Stayner also had goals scored by Kyle Lafreniere and Jackson Clarke, who scored one goal each. In addition, Stayner received assists from Dakota Hynes, Austin Hamilton, and Isaac Swanton, who contributed one each.

The Golden Hawks incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with four minors. The Siskins' Aulthouse stopped 25 shots out of the 29 that he faced. Stayner incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
