A stellar performance between the pipes by Ryan Durkin helped Moon defeat Baldwin, 4-1.
Moon was led by Nicholas Hart, who tallied one goal. Hart scored on the power play 4:17 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Moon. Moon earned a power play opportunity when Easton Tamburri was put in the box for tripping. Luke James provided the assist.
Moon also had goals scored by Jakob Konecsni, Thomas Polster, and Austin Welsh, who each put in one. In addition, Moon received assists from Trey Kirksey, who had two and Jared Maxin, who had three.
Baldwin's offense operated below its season average. Baldwin puts an average of 3.9 pucks into the net per game. Baldwin kept Moon's goalie busy throughout the game, and Durkin made 35 saves on 36 shots.
Baldwin was led by Kenny Dee, who scored the team's only goal. Dee scored on the power play 55 seconds into the second period to make the score 1-1. Baldwin had gotten the advantage when Moon's Hart was sent off for roughing. Tamburri picked up the assist.

Baldwin ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Luke Kirk was ejected from the game.
