Behind a great game by Jess Ligas, who had one goal and three assists, West Allegheny defeated South Park, 5-2.
Ligas beat Shane Walker with a shot 3:05 into the second period to make the score 2-0 West Allegheny. Ligas dished an assist on Sean Weber's goal that made the score 1-0 West Allegheny at 3:12 into the first period. He then added assists on Jaret Mielnicki's goal at 11:54 into the second and on Weber's goal at 16:30 into the second.West Allegheny stifled South Park's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.
