Jordan Timmons had five goals and six assists to lead South Fayette to a 14-4 victory over Wheeling Catholic.

Timmons' first goal came 1:44 into the first period. He then added goals at 9:06 into the second, at 14:14 into the second, at 16:08 into the second, and at 1:21 into the third.

South Fayette excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. Wheeling Catholic was unable to stop South Fayette from sending pucks towards the net, and South Fayette eventually piled up 53 shots on goal. South Fayette surpassed its usual scoring output this season. South Fayette has scored at the pace of 6.3 goals per game during the current campaign. The defensemen of South Fayette were also effective in Wheeling Catholic's zone, and came away with two goals.

South Fayette also got points from Daniel Pollock, who also had one goal and one assist. Logan McConnell also scored for South Fayette. In addition, South Fayette received assists from Glenn Manni, Steven Anton, and Alexander Hornick, who contributed one each and Jacob Stack, Eric Milburn, and John Trinkala, who each chipped in two.

Wheeling Catholic's offense was handcuffed by South Fayette's defensive play, and Wheeling Catholic managed only 12 shots on goal during the game.

Wheeling Catholic was led by Kyle Wensel, who registered one goal and one assist. Wensel scored nine seconds into the first period to make the score 1-1. Wheeling Catholic also had goals scored by Derek Dearth, Clay Slyder, and Chase Kelly, who scored one goal each. Other players who recorded assists for Wheeling Catholic were Bryan Courts, Matthew Turziano, and Chase Edgerton, who contributed one each.

South Fayette's Kyle Sharp stopped eight shots out of the 12 that he faced. South Fayette incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with two minors. Jacob Laurine made 39 saves for Wheeling Catholic on 53 shots. Wheeling Catholic incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
