Montour had a five-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 7-2 win over Thomas Jefferson.

Montour got the win with help from a great game by Brandon Eisel, who had two goals and one assist. Eisel scored the first of his two goals at 3:45 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Montour. Camron Smith picked up the assist. Eisel's next tally made the score 3-0 Montour with 10:15 left in the first period. Smith assisted on the tally.

Montour excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances. Montour forced Thomas Jefferson goalie Jordan Blosl to work between the pipes, taking 50 shots.

Montour additionally got points from Smith, who also grabbed one goal and two assists. Montour also had goals scored by Anthony Isenberg, who had two and Anthony Catanzarite and Anthony Szurlej, who each put in one. In addition, Montour received assists from Anthony Hartwick, who had two and Philip Santucci, Nicholas OMalley, and Jason Casperson, who contributed one each.

Thomas Jefferson's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on six Montour power plays. Thomas Jefferson did not reach the goal total it has come to expect this season. Thomas Jefferson puts an average of 5.1 pucks into the net per game. The defensemen of Thomas Jefferson were also effective in Montour's zone, and came away with two goals.

Thomas Jefferson was led by Michael Krieger, who registered two goals. Krieger scored the first of his two goals at 2:05 into the third period to make the score 5-1 Montour. Anthony Carilli picked up the assist. Krieger's next tally made the score 6-2 Montour with 7:13 left in the third period. More assists for Thomas Jefferson came via Dominic Tamburi, who had one.

Montour's Arn Criswell stopped 19 shots out of the 21 that he faced. Montour incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with three minors. Blosl rejected 43 shots on goal for Thomas Jefferson. Thomas Jefferson incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
