Little Britain beats Georgina 6-0 as Harris gains shutout

Adam Harris made 30 saves to complete the shutout and led the Little Britain Merchants to a 6-0 win against the Georgina Ice.

Little Britain got the win on the strength of a great game by Kenzie Smith, who had one goal and two assists. Smith scored 3:21 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Little Britain. Keegan Cairns picked up the assist.

The Merchants excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances. Little Britain forced Georgina goalie Dawson Barnard APM to work between the pipes, taking 41 shots.

Little Britain also got points from Terry Snoddon, who also finished with one goal and two assists and Cairns, who also tallied two goals and one assist to lead the team in points. Little Britain also had goals scored by Aidan Renouf and Reed Westington, who scored one goal each. In addition, Little Britain received assists from Jesse Craig, who had two and Derek Risebrough, Keegan McLelland, and Mark Harris, who contributed one each.

The Ice's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Little Britain power plays.

The Merchants incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Dawson Barnard APM made 35 saves for Georgina on 41 shots. The Ice incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with four minors.
