Nicolas Schuler finished with one point to lead the Napanee Raiders to an 8-3 victory over the Amherstview Jets.

Referees had their hands full with a major incident at 6:20 into the third period. Four fighting penalties were dished out along with two game misconducts.

Napanee's penalty box was a popular destination as the team totaled nine minors and three majors for 83 minutes in penalty time. The Raiders surpassed its season average of 20.0 penalty minutes per game. Napanee put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Amherstview to score on any of its three power plays. The Raiders bested their season scoring average. Napanee averages 4.2 goals per game.

Napanee also got points from Riley Steeves, who also had one goal and one assist, Jordan Cannons, who also registered one goal and one assist, and Chad Caskenette, who also tallied one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. Napanee also had goals scored by Tyler Romain, Cullen Hinds, Aidan McFarland, and Austin Boulard, who each put in one. Other players who recorded assists for Napanee were Ryley Richardson and Trent Schutt, who contributed one each and Brodie Butt and Zach Knapp-Hermer, who each chipped in two.

The Jets were often in penalty trouble, totaling 13 minors and three majors for 91 minutes in penalty time. The total exceeded the 23.0 minutes per game Amherstview had been spending in the box. The Jets were held below their usual level of production. Amherstview puts an average of 5.4 pucks into the net per game. The Jets forced the Raiders goalie Cameron Parr to work between the pipes, taking 39 shots.

Parr recorded 36 saves for Napanee. The Raiders registered three goals on seven power play opportunities. Team's Brandon Major, Zack Revell, and Schuler were slapped with misconducts and ejected from the game. The Jets' Ryan Kaszuba stopped 20 shots out of the 28 that he faced. For Amherstview, Konner Burtenshaw, Alex Rice, Dawson Chard, and Brett Maracle were ejected from the contest.
