The Lakeshore Canadiens and the Alvinston Flyers were evenly matched throughout their contest, but Lakeshore made the most of its opportunities and won, 5-3.
Each team kept the other at bay throughout the game, and Blake Rutckyj secured the win for the Canadiens with a goal in the second period.
Lakeshore got the win behind a great game by Jarrett Tazzman, who had one goal and two assists. Tazzman scored 3:15 into the third period to make the score 4-2 Lakeshore. JJ Percy picked up the assist.

The Flyers were helped by Kole Keating, who registered one goal. Keating scored on the power play 16:37 into the third period to make the score 4-3 Lakeshore. Karsten Berg provided the assist. Alvinston also got points from Berg, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Alvinston also got a goal from Zach VanEyk as well. Other players who recorded assists for Alvinston were Mark McNally, who had one and Clint Rose and Cole Harris, who each chipped in two.
