Jordan Timmons netted a hat trick to lead South Fayette over Wheeling Park, 10-4.

Timmons notched his first tally 14:54 into the first period. He then added goals at 3:39 into the second and at 10:20 into the third.

Wheeling Park was doomed by its poor performance on special teams, as South Fayette was able to score four times while on the power play.

South Fayette stifled Wheeling Park's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. South Fayette forced Wheeling Park goalie Dorothy Romanek to work between the pipes, taking 48 shots. South Fayette's goal total was higher than its season average. South Fayette has scored at the pace of 6.3 goals per game during the current campaign. The defensemen of South Fayette were also effective in Wheeling Park's zone, and came away with four goals.

South Fayette also got points from Spencer Barber, who also tallied two goals and three assists, John Lipovich, who also had one goal and two assists, and Jeremy Anthos, who also registered one goal and three assists. Wheeling Park was led by Nikita Slivchenko, who finished with two goals. Slivchenko scored the first of his two goals at 5:13 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Wheeling Park. Joseph Haller picked up the assist. Slivchenko's next tally made the score 8-2 South Fayette with 4:37 left in the second period. Brice Lucas assisted on the tally. Others who scored for Wheeling Park included Jason Gwynn and Elijah Pissos, who scored one goal each. In addition, Wheeling Park received assists from Austin Curnes, Luke Knollinger, Gavin Curnes, and Shawn Guthoerl, who contributed one each.

Kyle Sharp rejected 19 shots on goal for South Fayette. South Fayette incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with four minors. Wheeling Park's Romanek stopped 38 shots out of the 48 that he faced. Wheeling Park incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
