Wheeling Park's Luke Knollinger had a big offensive game, scoring one goal and contributing five assists in his team's 7-4 win over Westmont Hilltop.

Knollinger beat David Cavrak with a shot 1:35 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Wheeling Park. Nikita Slivchenko picked up the assist. Knollinger dished an assist on Elijah Pissos's goal that made the score 2-1 Wheeling Park at 16:01 into the first period. He then added assists on Joseph Haller's goal at 9:49 into the second, on Haller's goal at 11:33 into the second, on Slivchenko's goal at 7:03 into the third, and on Slivchenko's goal at 16:37 into the third.

Wheeling Park surpassed its usual scoring output this season. Wheeling Park averages 3.5 goals per game. Wheeling Park's penalty killing units received substantial work throughout the game as Wheeling Park finished with 16 penalty minutes.

Wheeling Park also got points from Slivchenko, who also racked up two goals and one assist. Zachary Kahle also scored for Wheeling Park. Other players who recorded assists for Wheeling Park were Jefferson Gwynn, who had two and Zachary Taylor and Shawn Guthoerl, who contributed one each.

Westmont Hilltop put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Wheeling Park to score on any of its three power plays. Westmont Hilltop forced Wheeling Park goalie Dorothy Romanek to work between the pipes, taking 31 shots.

Westmont Hilltop was led by Isac Jangard, who tallied two goals. Jangard scored the first of his two goals on the power play at 13:25 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Westmont Hilltop had taken the advantage when Wheeling Park's Logan Eberhard got sent off for cross checking. Austin Degrange assisted on the tally. Jangard's next tally on the power play made the score 4-3 Wheeling Park with 3:01 left in the second period. Degrange picked up the assist. Others who scored for Westmont Hilltop included Logan Webb and Corbin Ragno, who each put in one. In addition, Westmont Hilltop received assists from Nicholas McQuillan, who had one.

Romanek recorded 27 saves for Wheeling Park. David Cavrak made 23 saves for Westmont Hilltop on 30 shots. Westmont Hilltop incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
