An Open Letter from Blades GM Krista Patronick

Dear Blades fans, friends and supporters,

First and foremost, thank you for your support so far this season. There is no denying that this has been a tough year for our organization. We have faced unprecedented difficulties and appreciate your loyalty and commitment to the team.

While we haven't seen the desired results on the ice yet, there is no doubt this team is the hardest working, most committed and fiercely passionate group of women to ever don Blades jerseys. I can't thank our roster, as well as our staff and volunteers enough; they all go above and beyond what is asked of them in so many ways.

With our home schedule winding down, we've begun the process of looking to improve our organization for next season, both on and off the ice. While I can't mention specifics yet we are actively looking at our rink, recruiting, and our marketing efforts to bounce back strong in 2016-2017. Our staff and I welcome any and all suggestions from our fans as we begin this process. Make no mistake - the Bladies will be back.

We have two more games this season: Jan. 16 at 7 p.m. at New England Sports Center and Jan. 17 at 1:30 p.m. at the Tsongas Center at UMass Lowell, both against Les Canadiennes de Montreal. I'm hopeful that our fans will come out and support the CWHL's Boston franchise - our players deserve a loud, strong crowd to wrap up the home season.

Thank you again for your support, and Go Blades!
