Kennedy Catholic wins tough contest against John Marshall, 4-2

The game between Kennedy Catholic and John Marshall was tight through all 60 minutes, but in the end Kennedy Catholic emerged with a 4-2 win.

Each team kept the other at bay throughout the game, and William Piacitelli secured the win for Kennedy Catholic with a goal in the third period.

Kennedy Catholic got the win behind a great game by Max Hamilton, who had two goals and two assists. Hamilton scored the first of his two goals on the power play at 5:24 into the third period to make the score 2-2. Kennedy Catholic had gotten the advantage when John Marshall's George Makricostas was sent off for roughing. Hamilton's next tally on the power play made the score 4-2 Kennedy Catholic with 5:50 left in the third period. Kennedy Catholic earned a power play opportunity when Nicholas Fitzpatrick was put in the box for high sticking. Piacitelli picked up the assist.
