Joe Guimont finished with two points to lead Minnesota to a 5-2 victory over Evansville.

Evansville was unable to stop Minnesota from sending pucks towards the net, and Minnesota eventually piled up 39 shots on goal. Minnesota outdid its season average for goals scored. Minnesota averages 2.8 goals per game.

Minnesota also got points from Kyle Wendorf, who also racked up one goal and one assist and Kevin Donahue, who also had one goal and one assist.
