Mike’s Lunch long-time owner Steve Nannos once again extended his love for hockey and kids again this year- inviting his favourite category Glace Bay Pee Wee AAA hockey team for a X-MAS dinner.

Once again Steve helped the MINERS out financially this year by offering “dinner deal tickets” which we greatly appreciated. The whole team pulled together which proved to be another “popular team fundraiser”.

After finishing the ticket sales, Steve invited the whole team to his restaurant MIKE’s LUNCH  for a meal and rolled out the red carpet.

Shown in the picture below is Steve's son Andreas, who played for the Pee Wee team quite some time ago. The team really enjoyed Andreas’ hockey stories that he shared with the youngsters which entertained they kids during their meal.

Overall, this event was a great team building evening.
