The Bulldogs Chris Haynes(4:17) scored the 1st goal of the game. Rebels Vaughn Harris (4:47) and J. Quinn Powless (5:31) gave the home team a lead. Bulldogs regained the lead on goals by Jordan Dance (power play @ 7:12) and Luke Laidlaw (10:22). Rebels Danny Vyse (11:26), Brandon Montour (11:43), Jesse Johnson (12:47) and Stuart Martin (15:08) made it 6-3 to the delight of the ILA crowd. BulldogsBrendan MacDonald (18:17) made it 6-4 after 20 minutes of action.The Rebels and Bulldogs had 17 shots each in the first period.
The middle period, Rebels Powless (2nd of the game @ 4:12) made it 7-4. Bulldogs would score three power play goals as B. MacDonald (2nd of the game @ 6:49), L. Laidlaw (2nd of the game @ 8:50) and Seth Laidlaw (10:31) would make it 7-7 game. Rebels Chris Attwood (power play goal @ 17:37) scored the eventual Game-Winning-Goal as Rebels goalie Alton would shutout the Bulldogs the rest of the contest. Rebels were outshot the Bulldogs 16-15 in the second period.
Rebels Powless (hat-trick @ 12:06) and Attwood (power play & 2nd of the game @ 18:07) made it 10-7 in the third. After the goal, a bench clearing brawl was start and both teams finished with 258 penalty minutes with the Bulldogs earning 136 minutes to the Rebels 122 minutes in penalties on the night. Halton Hills finished with a 12-11 edge in shots during the third period to finish the night with Bulldogs holding a 45-43 edge in shots for the entire contest.
