The Picton Pirates fell behind early, and the Amherstview Jets kept piling on the points on the way to a 10-7 victory.
Joey Mayer was all over the ice for Amherstview, as he tallied two goals and one assist in the win. Mayer scored the first of his two goals at 6:56 into the first period to make the score 2-1 Amherstview. Mayer's next tally made the score 7-2 Amherstview with 1:49 left in the first period. The Jets had gotten the advantage when Picton's Devin McCann was sent off for cross checking. Max Brunner picked up the assist.
The Pirates fell victim to a deadly Amherstview power play, which ripped Picton for five goals.

Team's Burke and Riley Reynolds were slapped with misconducts and ejected from the game.
