Paul Knerr lifted Baldwin to a 5-2 victory with a hat trick against North Hills.

Knerr got on the scoresheet 6:24 into the first period. He then added goals at 4:20 into the second and at 7:18 into the second.

Baldwin forced North Hills goalie Kaden Mahsoob to work between the pipes, taking 43 shots. Baldwin was shut out on the power play, going scoring scoreless on 10 chances with a man advantage.

Others who scored for Baldwin included Kenny Dee and Max Milan, who scored one goal each. In addition, Baldwin received assists from Michael Kahwash, who had one and Mark Ohanlon, who had three.

North Hills was often in penalty trouble, totaling six minors and one major for 77 minutes in penalty time. North Hills surpassed its season average of 26.0 penalty minutes per game. North Hills stifled Baldwin's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. North Hills' offense rang up 35 shots on Baldwin's net.

North Hills was helped by Samuel Urbanek, who racked up one goal. Urbanek scored 2:01 into the first period to make the score 1-0 North Hills. John Seibert provided the assist. Jesse Weideman also scored for North Hills. Other players who recorded assists for North Hills were Gannon Warrick, who had one.

Dylan Desimone made 33 saves for Baldwin on 35 shots. Baldwin incurred 36 minutes in penalty time with three minors. North Hills' Mahsoob stopped 38 shots out of the 43 that he faced. North Hills registered zero goals on one power play opportunities. North Hills ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Shea Jones was ejected from the game.
