Jeromy Hopkins had two goals to lead the Grimsby Peach Kings to a 3-0 victory over the Dunnville Jr. Mudcats.

Hopkins' tallies came at 4:57 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Grimsby and on the power play 6:49 into the third to make the score 3-0 Grimsby.

Grimsby kept Dunnville's goalie busy throughout the game, and Jackson Roberts made 34 saves on 37 shots.

Daniel Scotland also scored for Grimsby. Other players who recorded assists for Grimsby were Trevor McEneny and Mike Mikula, who contributed one each and Joshua Kozielski and Curtis Conrad, who each chipped in two.

The Jr. Mudcats could not produce up to their normal offensive output. Dunnville averages 3.3 goals per game.

Jeremy Currie made 17 saves for the Peach Kings on 17 shots. Grimsby incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. The Jr. Mudcats incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
