Bio: 

Elite Level Development was started by Coach Jon Calvano in 2000. Coach Calvano has been developing players since 1998 and is currently the Head Coach of the Coquitlam Express of the BCHL.

Prior to coaching in the BCHL, Coach Calvano enjoyed tremendous success coaching the North West Giants of the BCMM AAA League were he won three Provincial Championship and in the Macs Midget AAA Christmas Tournament, lead the Giants to the finals three times, winning the event in 2010.

Coach Calvano has helped develop many of today’s young stars from Ryan Nugent Hopkins (Red Deer Rebels NHL Ranked #1 ) to Kyle Turris ( Phoenix Coyotes ) to Karl Alzner ( Washington Capitals ). Calvano’s focus on individual player skills has helped many players obtain their goals in Hockey.
