The Minor Mosquito Cardinals had a fantastic few days in Brantford last weekend. The Cardinals were perfect in round robin victories on Friday and Saturday. They defeated Brantford, East York and Brampton 2 to go 3-0. In the semi final the Cardinals faced a very strong Brampton Royals team, and in what was truly one of the most exciting games all season, they were able to get by the Royals and into the tournament final. In the finals the Cardinals took on Mississauga North Tigers. Ultimately the the hectic schedule and heat caught up to the Cardinals, but the tourmanent was definitely a success as they went 4 -1 with some clutch hitting and solid pitching.
