WINE COUNTRY BASEBALL APPOINTS GENERAL MANAGER

Wine Country Baseball in Lodi, California announced today that Doug Leary has joined the organization as General Manager to bring collegiate wooden bat baseball back to Lodi and Tony Zupo Field.  The team has joined the Great West League and will begin play next June.

Leary brings over 35-years of experience in sports and entertainment to Lodi. His love for the game and a desire to bring affordable family fun to the community will be his focus in the coming months.

"We are very fortunate to have someone with Leary's background overseeing the team," said Jack Donovan, one of the team's owners.  "His experience and versatility will serve the team and the fans well."

One of the team’s first projects will be to hold a name the team contest, which will be announced in the next few days.
