New England Wolves Independent team goaltender Charles Jakobsson has committed to the Fitchburg State Falcons and Coach Dean Fuller for September 2015.  The 5’10 180 pound stellar goaltender who hails from Jonkoping, Sweden put up admirable numbers for the Wolves with a 1.83 GAA and .931 save percentage for the season. “Charles played great for us all season”, comments Coach Brett Tryder.  “We always felt like we had a chance to win when he was in the net.  He is a very athletic goalie with incredible focus.  I know he will succeed at Fitchburg State”. “We have all been impressed with the way Charles goes about his business in terms of preparation on and off the ice, and his consistent high level of play reflects that.   His strong technical skill set and natural ability to stop the puck combined with the way he competes give us all confidence that he will be a valuable contributor at Fitchburg.” states Coach Steve Jacobs.
