North Division Star of the Week: Mitch Fossier, forward, Janesville Jets
Right now there is no slowing down the Janesville Jets.  The NAHL North Division leaders picked up yet another weekend sweep this past weekend, this time against their in-state rivals, the Coulee Region Chill. Forward Mitch Fossier, 18, continued his hot play with a big weekend as the rookie from Alpharetta, Georgia, racked up five points and a +4 rating in the two wins. On Friday, Fossier (5’11/175) had a goal in a 4-1 home win over the Chill. On Saturday, Fossier was part of a five-goal Jets comeback as he recorded a hat-trick and an assist in a 5-3 win in Coulee Region. For the season, the University of Maine recruit is 4th on the team in scoring with 41 points in 45 games played. “For Mitch, he has been a guy for us that has elevated his game in the second half of the season to a whole new level. He is one of our go-to guys now. He brings such a consistent effort night in and night out and he takes pride in the little things,” said Jets head coach Joe Dibble.
