Sean Crowe gave the Orillia Terriers a 4-2 (OT) victory over the Stayner Siskins when he scored 3:12 into the extra period.
With the win, Orillia evened the series at 1-1 in the best of seven showdown.
The Terriers were led by Crowe, who tallied one goal and one assist.
Orillia put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Stayner to score on any of its five power plays. The Terriers' offense rang up 32 shots on the Siskins' net.
Orillia additionally got points from Ryan Tucci, who also registered one goal and one assist and Brock Welsh, who also racked up one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Orillia also got a goal from Jason Binnie as well. In addition, Orillia received assists from Gordie Weiss, Jacob Beard, Mathew White, and Denny Benson, who each chipped in one.
Stayner kept Orillia's goalie busy throughout the game, and Weiss made 32 saves on 34 shots.
The Siskins were helped by Dylan Bursey, who had one goal. Bursey scored 17:33 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Orillia. Ryan Hyndman provided the assist. Kort Weir also scored for Stayner. More assists for Stayner came via Brett Gauthier, Ryan Hudson, and Derick Robertson, who contributed one each.
The Terriers incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Nick Keleher recorded 28 saves for Stayner. The Siskins incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
