On Friday the Warriors jumped out to a 2-0 lead on a CRU power play goal by Tyler Groat in the first, and a second period goal by Ivan Osko. The Warriors controlled the game for over 30 minutes of action, but a Janesville shorthanded goal by Brandon Schultz sparked a 5 goal come from behind win.
On Saturday the Michigan Warriors got behind early after giving up 4 first period goals and never recovered. Getting the goals for the Warriors was Ryan Sete, Andrew Green and Cody Kuster. The Warriors will be on the road next weekend at Springfield, and will return to Flint January 23rd to take on the Soo during a free kids friday!
