UNC beat a tough ECU team in the champioship game, 4-1 to win it's second tournament in as many months.  In early October, UNC won the Inaugural ACCHL Stephen Russell Tournament by besting UNC-Charlotte by 2 points.  The James Sapikowski Memorial Tournament is an open tournament hosted by UNC every year, the weekend prior to Thansgiving.  Other teams that competed in this year's tournament included Duke, Elon, Johnson & Wales, and High Point University.
