LEASIDE's Kaelyn Johnson had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing one assist in her team's 3-1 win over SOUTHWEST.

Johnson scored at 15:22 into the third period to make the score 2-1 LEASIDE and again while 19:45 into the third to make the score 3-1 LEASIDE.

LEASIDE's penalty kill excelled, as LEASIDE gave up one goal despite allowing six power plays.

Katie Strain also scored for LEASIDE. In addition, LEASIDE received assists from Mariah Hinds and Kandice Sheriff, who each chipped in one.

SOUTHWEST stifled LEASIDE's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

SOUTHWEST was led by Jamie Noseworthy (A), who scored the team's only goal. Noseworthy (A) scored 7:03 into the first period to make the score 1-0 SOUTHWEST. Savannah Bouzide assisted on the tally.

Hailey Farrelly rejected 21 shots on goal for LEASIDE. LEASIDE incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Hanna Slater recorded 21 saves for SOUTHWEST. SOUTHWEST incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
