THUNDER 'BEARD UP' FOR MOVEMBER

Date:  Source: Bloomington Thunder

As part of the national Movember campaign, the Bloomington Thunder will be doing their part to raise money for men’s health by growing out their facial hair. 12 player participants and two staff members will channel their inner ‘Tom Selleck’ in hopes to become the 2014-15 Movember Man, but they need your help to get there.

Head to http://moteam.co/bloomington-thunder and donate to your select player’s profile page to help them win. Also, during the Thunder’s home games in November, donation baskets will be set up on the concourse with players updated Movember pictures. The player with the most money donated at the end of the month will be crowned the 2014-15 Movember Man.

Follow the team’s progress on our Facebook and Twitter pages for updates, pictures, and player donation pages. All funds raised will be donated to the Movember campaign, which works in conjunction with the Livestrong Foundation, Prostate Cancer Foundation, and Movember Foundation. These foundations help fund programs related to men’s health, prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and global collaboration to find a cure.
