Dayton, Ohio – This season fans may notice something different when they look at the back of the Demonz jerseys, and I am not just talking about number changes on some of their favorite players, but some players are sporting sponsors under the Demonz Adopt-a-Player Program.
This season the Demonz have the Adopt-a-Player Program package for $600. Fans, families or businesses can sponsor a Demonz player and have their name and logo on the back of the player’s jersey. Under the Adopt-a-Player Program the player’s sponsor will receive a “Get to Know the Player” lunch, a personalized autographed replica framed jersey, two 8 by 10 photos of the sponsor and player in their uniform, company listing on the team’s website and in the program, and a company visit at a company office party or group event.
Currently there are 3 players sponsored: #19, Ahmed Mahfouz who is proudly sponsored by Dour Printing and Office Supplies; #77, Brian Marks who is proudly sponsored by TravelPlex; and #6, Brett Wall who is proudly sponsored by the Stillwater Tavern. If you are interested in sponsoring one of the available players, please contact the Demonz Front Office at 937-723-8461 or http://daytondemonz.pointstreaksites.com/view/daytondemonz/partners-7/become-a-partner-4 for additional information.
The Defense of the Cup continues on October 25th when the Danbury Whalers return to Hara Arena for the first meeting between the Whalers (0-2) and Demonz (2-0) since the Demonz won Game 5 of the Federal Hockey League Commissioner’s Cup in Danbury on April 19th. There is a pregame music event featuring the Hauer Swing Band starting at 5pm, admission is free. Gates open at 6:35pm, puck drops at 7:35pm. The Demonz will unveil their 2013-2014 Championship Banner and present the returning players with their Championship Rings prior to the game, so come early and join in a piece of Dayton history.
