Matthew Mah had one goal and four assists to lead the Kincardine Bulldogs to a 9-3 victory over the Goderich Flyers.

Mah got on the board by slotting home a power play goal 15:18 into the second period to make the score 4-1 Kincardine. Kincardine had gained a power play chance when Cody Kropf was whistled for tripping. Mah dished an assist on Patrick Wiejak's goal that made the score 2-1 Kincardine at 10:52 into the second period. He then added assists on Shawn Moore's goal at 3:02 into the third, on Moore's goal at 8:51 into the third, and on Brycin Morrison's goal at 11:14 into the third.

Goderich fell victim to a deadly the Bulldogs power play, which ripped the Flyers for five goals.

Kincardine stifled Goderich's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Bulldogs forced the Flyers goalie Nathan Watson to work between the pipes, taking 39 shots. Kincardine found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. This season, the Bulldogs average 3.0 goals per contest.

Kincardine also had goals scored by Jordan Bell, Derrick Bernath, and Sam Feagan, who scored one goal each. In addition, Kincardine received assists from Mike Smailes and Luke Czuczman, who each chipped in one and Dalton Hnatko, Jordan Van Haelemeesch, and Brett Burrows, who contributed two each.

Kincardine was unable to stop Goderich from sending pucks towards the net, and the Flyers eventually piled up 33 shots on goal. Goderich found itself short handed often, totaling 28 penalty minutes and allowing 12 power plays.

The Flyers were helped by Andrew Gooding, who finished with one goal. Gooding scored 19:48 into the second period to make the score 4-3 Kincardine. Brad MacIntyre picked up the assist. Goderich additionally got points from Morgan Benniwies, who also registered one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Goderich also got a goal from Trent Michie (AP) as well. Other players who recorded assists for Goderich were Joseph Dykstra, who had one.

The Bulldogs' Luke Aulthouse stopped 30 shots out of the 33 that he faced. Kincardine incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Watson rejected 30 shots on goal for Goderich. The Flyers registered zero goals on four power play opportunities.
