Test1 hangs on, beats Test2 2-1

David Brock scored the go-ahead goal in the first period, and Test1 held off the challenges of Test2 in a tough 2-1 win.

Brock provided Test1 with the game-winning tally when he scored 14:00 into the first period. Chad Culp assisted on the tally.

Brock was all over the ice for Test1, as he had two goals in the win.

Test2's Zach Higgins could not handle what Test1 threw at him, as Test1 netted its goals off of four.

Test1's offense revolved around and Brock, who put and three shots on net. Test1 did not rack up many penalties in the contest, totaling only one minor for two minutes in penalty time.

Other players who recorded assists for Test1 were Kurtis Wagar, who had one and Glen Bryan, who had two.

Greg Downing generated most of Test2's offense, taking one out of Test2's one shot. Test2's offense was helped by the efforts of its defensemen, who managed to put one shot on net during the game.

More assists for Test2 came via Scott Jones, who had one.

Test1 registered one goal on zero power play opportunities. Test2 ended with no penalties and went 0-for-1 on the power play.
