This weekend, at the Polar Ice House in the Sports Factory in Wake Forest, The East Coast Eagles will host the USPHL, Junior A Hockey, College Recruiting Showcase.  The United States Premier Hockey League has teams from Portland, Maine to Palm Beach, Florida and last year placed over 130 players into college and college hockey.  Of that 130 players, 90 earned NCAA Division 1 placements.  This weekend the Southern Division will play-off against each other while NCAA coaches evaluate these student/athletes talent for the purpose of offering these players a spot on their college teams.

Thirty-seven games will be played over three days beginning at 8:00am Friday morning going through Sunday with the last game at 3:45pm.  “This is a great opportunity for people in Raleigh to come out and watch some high level junior hockey and watch some of college hockey’s future stars”, commented Eagles General Manager Lincoln Flagg.

The showcase will run all weekend and the admission cost is $12.00 for a single Day Pass or $30.00 for a weekend pass.
