Our House league is different.  It is not geared to game results.  The kids know  the score and they take winning seriously, but we are focused on their development. We practice the players one day per week in a skills session as we find most house level players need to work on their fundamentals (in the same way NHLers do), and a "games only" format frustrates weaker players.  We use the games to measure the development of the players.  Its a fun environment that emphasizes smiles and learning.
